Thanks very much to Josh Rollins for letting us feature his crazy clean EVO X. Josh’s car is the epitome of function meeting form; this EVO is the complete package, not only with perfect stance, but also sporting some serious power.
Josh lowered his Evo X on AMR Engineering Coilovers combined with front camber plates. This makes possible an aggressive -3 front camber and -1.5 rear camber is necessary to tuck some wide shoes under the Evo’s fenders. The car is sporting 18″ tall by 10.5″ wide Enkei RPF1 wheels in ‘electric blue’ with a +15 offset. Complimenting the wheels are Nitto NT555 275/35R18 tires.
Any Form=Function car needs the suspension to match the stance. Josh fitted the car with a Whiteline center roll adjustment kit, as well as a Whiteline 27mm adjustable rear sway bar. Since the car is regularly used at autocross and road tracks, it also got BrakeMan front brake pads.
Of course, with all of this time into the suspension, its pertinent that your street machine get a little extra bite. This Evo X is sporting Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors to ensure that the Evans Tuning protune never gets close to maxing out the fuel. Also, an AMS intercooler, AMS short ram intake and AMS downpipe keep the car breathing easily. Finally, a Synapse diverter valve helps the boost levels stay accurate and in check.
As the icing on the cake, Josh’s Evo also has a LiteSpec 3″ titanum catback, TWM short shifter, Blox Neo shift knob, and WORKS shifter bushings. Tinted windows and 3m protective film keep this auto-x brawler cool and protected as well.
